The Discovery 3000 was one of the greatest hits of Dromor Yachts in the '90s. These yachts have been proven so reliable and successful we still have a high demand from sailors who doesn't want to pay a lot of money for their charter -but they always expect a reliable and safe yacht. In 2004, we totally rebuilt the 6 Discoveries we maintain in our fleet -these yachts are Peponi, Karpouzi, Sail Fun, Lady Mary, Sail Away and Kos Island- and we intend to keep them in top shape and charter them for as long there are people who prefer to charter a reliable budget yacht. |
The Discovery 3000 was designed for Dromor from Judel Frolic. This small yacht has remarkably good sailing performances -like most of Dromor yachts- even in heavy weather, although she is a bit slow in light winds. All our Discoveries are equipped with a hydraulic steering wheel, bimini top. |
On the picture above, side and forward ports make for a light and airy saloon. There is an aft cabin to starboard -with hanging lockers and the head with shower to port. Forward of the aft cabin is the L-shaped galley, when to port the large charts table is next to the head. The dinette occupies the rest of the saloon with setees on both sides. |
Two cabins can accommodate four guest when two more guests can sleep in the saloon. The U-shape dinette is more than enough for the crew and the L-shaped galley has all the facilities one expects to find on a yacht of this size. |
